Gambrelle Day Care Centre is owned and managed by Mrs Claire Chapman, herself a busy working mother of four children.

Claire registered as a childminder in August 2002 before deciding to build a modern purpose built nursery on her home “Gambrelle” in April 2004. Claire says “Having been approached by several local parents I did some informed research into the local need for childcare and sought advice from the local Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership. They were very helpful and encouraging and provided me with demographic information that showed a high local birth rate and consequent need for a quality childcare facility that would meet the needs of modern working parents ... ”.

Since then, our day care service has gone from strength to strength. We now have two brand new purpose-built nurseries located in Wickham Market and Framlingham. We also run a Holiday Club based in Wickham Market's primary school.
